Why help us?

This year we are planning something extra special by shooting a film called Washington's Drive.

This story breathes new life and hopes into the minds of HighPoints youth and surrounding cities, Greensboro, Winston and the entire triad area.

Save the Arts Foundation Kids on Film Program will aide in teaching all the basic steps of filmmaking. During this class, they will learn scriptwriting, camera operation, lighting, sound, staging, set design, and editing. In our previous years, we ended class by filming a short film and feature premiers. In addition to showing the films as a premiere in theaters.

$500  4 Tickets to movie premiere & special "thank you" on our website. Plus 2 Movie Tee Shirts and BUSINESS  mention in the movie credits

Save The Arts Foundation Kids on Film Program was started to educate, cultivate and create opportunities for hands on training in our motion picture projects. This program is for the youth, and college students, as well as adults who are interested in learning more regarding the film industry. Save The Arts believes we can educate while entertaining.

We have produced 4 kid films out of 8 and have worked with over 675 kids directly in films and it has been a joy to see the glow in their eyes and some actually pursue film as a career. We are very proud of our past STA Kids on film actors Trevion Boswell who was cast in a professional cancer center tv commercial and Vonnii Bristow who played Ice Cube in the biopic of Michelle’s called (Surviving Compton) released nationwide. We couldn’t be more proud of them all and our contribution to our communities.
